This adaptor kit allows you to bolt up VE/VF calipers to your VT VX VU VY VZ Commodore with the correct matching VE/VF Rotors.
4 Pot VE/VF Brembo calipers with 355mm and 360mm rotors (DBA42604 / DBA42074)
4 Pot VE AP Racing calipers with 365mm and 350mm rotors (DBA42030 / DBA42031)
4 Pot Front VF AP Racing calipers with 367mm and 367mm rotors (DBA42066 / DBA42065)
6 Pot Front and 4 pot Rear VE/VF Brembo calipers with 370mm and 360mm rotors (DBA42608 / DBA42074)
The Kit Includes
- A front pair of 4 Pot adaptor brackets
- A Rear pair of 4 Pot adaptor brackets
- Handbrake adaptor brackets
- Shims to go over your wheel studs
- Shims to run calipers with M12 or M14 bolts
- Bolts required for Installation
The front VE/VF rotors will need to have their centres machined out from 67.4mm to 71.5mm to fit VT-VZ hubs as VE hubs are slightly smaller and the rears need to be machined to 70mm to fit the rear hubs.
We reccomend getting this done correctly on a lathe so the original chamfer can be kept.
As an extra on the kit we can supply the brake pads and rotors with the centres machined out so everything is a straight bolt on application. Just supply your own calipers.
Requires atleast 18 Inch rims to be able to clear the brakes and depending on the rim design the offset will need to be +35 to +40 or lower. As a general rule all VE and up HSV Wheels will clear aswell as VE/VF redline wheels.
Commodores with existing brake upgrades will aslo require extra shims to go over your existing bolts, if you have HSV brakes ect make sure to let us know in the order instructions at checkout and if you have PBR C5/C6 calipers you will also require some new standard VT-VZ brake lines.
The brackets are made of billet 6061-T6 alluminium and hard anodised black for longevity and the wheel stud spacers are made of stainless steel
Please Note
Your knuckles on your car may have an uneven finish and prevent the brackets from sitting correctly, if this is the case just grind the knuckle down to an even finish.
When supplying your own calipers the bleeders and crossover pipes will need to be swapped around on the Front Brembo calipers to keep your brake pad wear even, as VE/VF commodore brakes are in the trailing position and VT - VZ Brakes are in the leading position.
You won't be able to swap the bleeders over with VF AP Racing calipers due to how the calipers are designed and VE AP Racing calipers won't need to have the bleeders swapped as the pistons inside are the same size leading and trailing.
Using a flare spanner is reccomended as the fitting are quite soft.
